The Claims

Oxy-powder® consists of three main ingredients; Ozonated Magnesium Oxides, Organic Germanium-132, and Natural Citric Acid. They claim that it produces oxygen which is released into the digestive tract & bloodstream. In addition, they are also making claims that their product can protect against radiation damage, stimulating interferon production, and lowering blood pressure and serum cholesterol with the use of only three main ingredients.

The Directions

Start by taking 4 capsules before going to bed on an empty stomach with an 8 oz. glass of purified water. If you do not achieve 3 to 5 bowel movements the following day, increase your dosage by 2 capsules each night until 3 to 5 movements are achieved. Continue this dose for 7 consecutive days. For maintenance take this does 2-3 times weekly or as desired.

CCR’s Bottom Line

OxyPowder® claims to be “scientifically formulated” consisting of complex oxides of Magnesium and Peroxides of Magnesium. The reason this product slipped in the rankings is because it lacks several essential ingredients for cleansing and detoxifying the colon. We see that many leading colon cleansers contain ingredients such as Cascara Sagrada & Apple Cider Vinegar, which are vital for the detoxification process to take place. Cascara Sagrada works to push out accumulated toxins from the body. It is often used to relieve constipation and bloating. Apple cider vinegar is also an essential ingredient we look for in colon cleansers because it effectively, yet naturally cleanses internal organs. It helps relieve symptoms of indigestion and acid reflux. Oxy Powder users report instances of watery and/or oily stools; however this product is marketed to those that live a fast pasted life style. The operators of the website have even added the following statement: “This product causes watery and gaseous stools which could cause you to feel the urge to pass gas. If you are not able to control your bowels, please be careful when using this product. We recommend that during the 7-day cleanse you have close availability to a bathroom. Oxy-Powder® will cause watery, gaseous stools.” This is not a side effect that would sit well with that targeted audience. We are usually concerned with products that make long lists of claims, and Oxy-Powder has one of the longest lists out there. If any product could really do everything they claimed, every doctor on earth would be prescribing this “wonder drug”. Unfortunately, it seems to be a lot more hype than anything else. There are other, more effective options at your disposal and we would recommend that you look elsewhere.

User Testimonial

While using Oxy Powder colon cleanser for 6 weeks, I experienced some mixed results. Initially, I started to feel really bloated, but that subsided within the first three weeks. After the bloating left, I started to get extremely loose stools. The loose stools were a bit of a different issue, because they remained for a good portion of the cleansing program. It was a bit tough to deal with, but I grew accustomed to frequent bathroom visits. In my eyes it was worth it for the end result. I felt much better after the program was over. The stools were gone and most of the weighed-down, lethargic feeling was diminished. Oxy Powder works well, once you can get past the bloating and loose stools.
